San Francisco Municiple Railway (Muni) provides cable car, street car, trolley and bus service to the city.

Bay Area Rapid Transit (Bart) provides electric train service throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area. Get off at the Powell St. station and catch a cable car at Hallidie Plaza (Powell & Market).

Market Street Railway is dedicated to the preservation of San Francisco's historic streetcars.

Wellington Cable Car Museum. Wellington's cable car service started in 1902 and ran for 76 years. It was replaced with new technology in 1979. Located in the original winding house the museum has restored 3 original cars.
